    About the rain suit:

Jesus, do i need to take a picture of my dick sticking out of this thing for you guys to believe me? It's really not a big deal to take a leak while wearing it, can we just call this matter settled?

Seriously though, it does get very hot in the summer, like super sweaty hot. I don't know why it needs an inner liner. Thanks for reminding me ChinaV.

    About those Alpinestars Scout boots:

That taobao seller didn't actually have them, in any size, when I contacted him a month or two ago. He might have them now but don't hold your breath; sometimes they just post stuff they don't have in order to attract attention to their shop.

Yeah, I know the feeling, I just use the ankle zip on my Aldi suit. But we all know that real bikers don't even bother unzipping, just let it go.
Come on Felix, you can't let Lorne have that one ...

See what you guys have done? You've turned a nice thread about wet feet into a pissing contest. I hope you're happy.

All i have to say is this.

In the summer on shorter trips I really don't care of the rain. Motorcycling isn't really the ultimate comfo way of life. Sweat, cold, hot, wet - everything happens, though good gear makes a huge difference. I have a very old rain suit, which I haven't ever used.

I think people are expecting too much of gore-tex type suits. Those can't help it much from sweating in +40C if you are in bad shape and overweight. That is, gore-tex is not supposed to make you a non sweating person.

Maybe I have been lucky but waterproof gear I have bought has been waterproof, except pants I bought, which I took back to the dealer and said these are not waterproof. After the merchant confirmed the moisture was coming from outside and not inside of the pants he gave me new pants which were waterproof

I'm hoping to find this seller and try this Bering suit on.

    cheers
    Hello Euphonius,
Did you ever find that Taobao seller to try the Bering suit on?

    DearWhitworth,

I remember trying, but don't remember getting a response. I won't ride without armor, so that rain suit would have to fit over a jacket. Doesn't look like it would, to be honest.

    cheers
