Looks great and even doesn't sound bad. I wonder if it's EPA certed?

Would have been nice to seen a high speed pass by and some detail of the bike. Maybe next one!

Yes, Carl, the video sucked, but the bike looks decent, from what we can see, and sounds mean, although the rep who emailed it to me thought it might need a tune-up. I do think I could have done a much better job with the camera,

According to their hbmoto.com, and the alibaba sites, this bike is EPA certified, and I think for Canada, too. On Alibaba, they do say it's EEC certified.

There's no way that exhaust note (nice though it was) would pass EEC laws...

Forchetto, I gave the link to the alibaba Hi-Bird site on the other Hi-Bird thread (where you stated that they updated their site to read 18 hp) where it shows the same bike on several photos, and one of the photos says EEC highway use.

True but they also have a mystery 30hp engine. A report of these showing up in Europe would be a good way to be sure they're EEC certed.

OK, now that I have seen the video the bike has grown a bit. It sounds awesome for a 250cc.

The Rhino company is headquartered in the L.A. area, or at least the phone number (818 area code) is. The Rhino looks good, but a little overdone, IMO--the HB is much more subtle for my taste. Not sure, but it almost seems like the Rhino uses the Hi-Bird as its base bike?
