I've been surfin about the forum and haven't heard of anyone talking about the temp of their bike. Being a person that takes very good care of my toys, I think about these things sometimes. I'm currently fiddling with jets and airbox mods...

I know, I know; If you play with your airbox, you go blind.

I sealed my airbox back up and there is less get-up-and-go and the heat only went down a small bit.

Any how, I've upjetted to a #127 main jet and it is creating a little more heat than before. It seems counter-intuitive compared to my scooter tuning days. Bigger jet = less heat... visa-versa.

Dont laugh if this is nothing, but it is reading 250F at the outside of the top of the head, but about 215F when I stick a thermometer in the oil cap on the top of the tranny. All after a 20min ride at mostly 50-55mph.

If you know what your bike running temp is, post it up with the mods you've done. I'm waiting for qlink to reply with the numba's.

Qlink has replied back to me without and answer.

Well, not exactly, they said that there are many differing answers. All of which can be very drastic. So I suppose If it stays below 300deg.F there would be no cause for concern. Motor oil boils at 500deg.F

    There ya go qlink owners
