    Hi,
Just picked up a rather nice s/h 2006 water cooled Regal Rapter 250 (badged AJS here in the UK) with only 7000 miles on the clock. Nice bike, hope it stays that way !!
Wanted to try and find a manual for it but as expected nothing exists so I'll have to get hold of the one for the Honda 250 Rebel as I think that will help me with most basic info. Am I correct in assuming this is the book to get ?
Want to know things like how to adjust the cam chain.
Pictures later when I get the camera out.
If anyone can point me to any info, preferably technical, on the web I would be very appreciative.
    Thanks
    SW in the UK

The air-cool bike's spec is more like the Rebel (CA250T) domestic version. http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...1149#post10117 BUT 250 water-cool is big bored & some parts (gears...) NOT idencal to the REAL thing. UNLESS needs engine "rebuild" that manual is enough for such basics.

How come it's "big bored" when the capacity is the same as the Rebel, both 234cc ?

This is exactly the same as my bike. Well almost although the cylinder has only 3 fins on each side.
I think the one in this picture is a little newer 'cos it has a Cat in the exhaust system where as mine doesn't.
