10-24-2010, 02:33 PMHi guys.. Bought a brand new pulse adrenaline 125 and iv been told it's wise to keep the duel tap set to "off" while it's standing in the garden..
Also I ran out of petrol yesturday and the reserve tank was also empty..
So what I'm wondering is.. On the fuel tank control I have a picture of a. Full beaker(top), a half full beaker(bottom) and also a dot on the left.. ..
What option do I put this on when I'm riding and which when I am not using it.
Also will the reserve tank fill itself when I put petrol in the main tank or is there a way to fill it?
Sorry, this is my first bike.. I'm learning. ;)

Point it downwards for normal riding, when you run of petrol point it up to switch to reserve and go find a petrol station. Dont forget to switch back to down after filling up, otherwise nest time you run out you'll have no reserve! The dot on the left closes the fuel tap.
The reserve tank is the same as the main tank, it's just two different length tubes pointing up into the tank. So you only need to worry about filling one tank.

10-24-2010, 05:46 PMIt's always a good idea to shut off the fuel when parked. If you were to get a tiny piece of lint or even a hair stuck in the the needle valve it would allow gas to overfill the float bowl and run into the engine, flooding it and diluting the oil, or out through the air filter where it could cause a fire if there was an ignition source.
