Wher did you get your risers? Do you have a part number or recommendation? I looked at these and alot of them on ebay seem to be bike specific?

    Andrew,
I got these off Ebay. They are the same as I have on my XT225.

but when I searched Ebay just now for "XT225 risers" I also saw these which I might try next.

Since they go up 1" and back 1.25".

Why don't you try them and report back? Might make it easier for my old knees to stand on the pegs.

Both of those are pretty pricey. I wanted another inch in handlebar height on my Lifan so I could stand on the pegs without leaning over too much. I took a pair of top bar clamps from an old bike in the junk pile, turned them upside down, and got some longer bolts. They required a bit of filing to match up but they work great and were free.

Thanks Barnone - I'll Probably get a pair of the reg risers soon. Thanks again for your input - greatly appreciated. Seems you have to be just the right size and shape for these bikes......LOL :)

Took about 3 " Of Foam from Under the seat and Recovered. - Turned out Great - Very Happy with the results. Also Lowered the rear shock. Measured height after these Modicfications and Got about a 32.5" Seat Height.

Should have taken more Pictures of the process. I Purchased a whole NEW Seat to do this modification.
