    Hi Guys,

I've been posting off on and on for the last few months. I'm still intent on moving to Beijing in January and hopefully getting some riding in next year, but the legal licensing is turning out to be a trick.

It looks like I'll still be officially on a tourist visa, unless I can find some very part-time job that will get me a work visa. Because of that, it looks like I'm not entitled to a Chinese Drivers License.

I found this website though that says "any visa type is ok":

    http://www.china-driver-license.com/..._citizens.html

But it looks a bit sketchy. What do you think?

Thanks, I'm hoping to meet some of Beijing members next year!

2000 RMB in advance and the rest of the money later? You know without us telling you that it's not going to be legal. Please don't let these guys try to rob you. :)

This is and you'll have a faked license.
However, it is possible to get a temp dl for cars with a tourist or business visa in BJ - better car than none. It takes 2 hrs, less than 200RMB and has been done many times. Just look me up once you are here.
Test if you are colorblind and let me know before the test. I'll send somebody with you to get a temp dl.

I'm not sure those are fake. I know someone that knows someone who was talking to a guy at a bar and their brother came to China and got one of these . It's 100% legit, he had it checked by the local police and it shows up in the system as a valid license. Remember, TIC and there's always a way. The means of acquiring the license may be , but the end result was real.

    Cheers!

I just signed up yesterday for getting a motorcycle driving license in Beijing on a F-visa (business), the woman did count if I still have 90 days left on my visa though!

I know, I heard that too, gonna get one before I come over from http://www.fukitfakitnripoff.tw. I know they're trustworthy because they are selling shares in the Sydney Harbour Bridge and they could only do that if they were legit eh?
