That could be a problem especially in China. My wife loves Karoake.I'd get rid of one my bikes not to go to Karoake.

Ha Ha, I'm with you there. The only thing I hate worse than Karoake would be shopping. But don't tell my wife! I love my bikes.

BMW R69S...probably the finest bike ever made.

Those old BM,s were wonderful: quality, simplicity, durability, sheer class. There's a good website from a Jeff Dean here with lots of info and pictures of them:

I'm with you there. I rode my 1969 R69S around the world in 2004-05 and I rode my 1967 R50/2 across America twice. Now both bikes are here in Beijing. They are quite illegal but I get a thumbs up from every cop that see it.

Been looking (and drooling) at your site. Wonderful photos, great conversions and finishes.
Good to see that there are some real craftsmen left in the world...

I mean, can you imagine a folk song from a hundred years time?:

Oh, I'm a computer programmer from sunny Milton Keynes,
In the week I wear a suit, at the weekend Farouchi jeans.
It is my delight, on a Sunday night to cook some haricot beans
With my track suit on and one of them f******g stupid headphone things...
