Loncin does have distribution for North America, and they now have better products to offer it will be interesting to see if they will be offering these new models? They have to add the new models to inventory and they also have to proactively go after dealerships.
The 650 model would have to be priced well under $6,000.00 and would have to offer 24 months of warranty. Not many will consider it over a Kawasaki Versys or ERN-6 unless it offers at least a twenty five percent discount to any comparable model and double the warranty that Kawasaki and others offer.
The 250’s would have to be priced well under $3,000.00 and also offer extended warranty.
I do not see it happening unless Loncin China bankrolls its North American distributor, bet that the North American distributor does not even have the cash flow to update the website. It would be for them near impossible to get dealers to take inventory at their own cost for any of these, too high a risk in too tight a market. But unless the models are sitting in a showroom they cannot sell, ninety nine percent of all new sales occur on a major dealers showroom floor. They often hold inventory for more then a year…
I am fairly sure that the major brands finance the cost of the bikes to dealers or they find a third party to do it. So for the Chinese they should take that role or nothing will likely happen.

They both look great bikes, not sure about the seat on the road bike, it looks a bit goofy and uncomfortable. The motard looks stunning though, nice styling, clear lenses and I really like the cast wheels! I usually prefer spokes as well.. but i am a sucker for anything orange haha

Love the styling of the motard and I agree, those cast wheels are nice! But that front brake line routing is more than questionable. Can't think of one reason why it would be routed around the front....? Anybody??

It allows the brake line to move up and down in a straight line as the suspension moves. It slides up and down
through plastic guides and the flex is taken in a large radius across the handlebars
with a convetional system the brake line flexes and twists is it moves in a smaller area
I think Suzuki had this patented for a few years before it expired and everyone adopted it for off road use. It wasn't a problem for conventional forks before

SM178FMN
Thats the code used to identify the 292cc single that Loncin is manufacturing. It looks to be based on a GZ250 Suzuki engine which is a 249cc single 72x61mm, it seem that the bore increased by 6mm.
Here are the two engines, the cases look the same.
Both have the Twin Dome Combustion chamber. (TDC) A single cylinder with two exhaust ports.

The Chinese have their work cut out for them…
The GZ250 has a MSRP of $2,999.00 in the USA.
The TU250 has a 2-valve Suzuki engine different to the GN250 engine that Loncin utilizes on the LX-250-7
And the JL250-GY is selling with a MSRP of $3,999.00 and comes with EFI. The TU250 was not manufactured in 2010 or at least not imported as there are only 2009 models and 2011 models. The TU250 also only comes in two colors dark red for 2009 and sort of brown for 2011.
