For 2011 it seems that Zanella dropped the Lifan (GY-7) 250 water cooled it offered for its Motard and went with the air cooled Loncin model with the 223cc engine instead.

Zanella offers that Loncin Motorcyle as the ZTT250 and also offers it’s a 200cc version as it ZTT200. (different frames though)

Minsk only offers the 200cc of the Loncin as its X 200 and seems only as a dual sport.

Minsk also offers a 200cc standard as its M4 200.

What a difference a paint color makes….that standard with an upgrade to the 223cc would be my choice, or the 249cc 4-valve Suzuki GN250 even better yet.

The Minsk M4 500 based off the Cagiva/Asiawing never made it….either it was limited in release or never made it to the market? Either way M1NSK does not have it in its 2011 model line.

Since the Asiawing Spark is EPA/DOT certified and the Minsk is basically the same bike it could get a faster track to the USA market then other models. But with out quality control support and an actual dealer network it would not do very well.

    Spark

Notice the colors and also wheels….the same.

This is the Asiawing 500, not sure why the Minsk has a dual exhaust? Single cylinder engine can be configured with dual exhausts, the GN250 comes with either one or two exhaust ports.

    Then read this....

The engine is from the design of the Cagiva River…in that bike it had a dual exhaust.

The original was consider a good bike...it all screams of a lack of quality control, that being what Asiawing does.

    Yeah, a huge difference.

I see some similarity in style with MZ TS.

Lets see how MZ TS looks with hot chicks.

I think there is a difference too

Anyway I like the Minsk models and could certainly buy one.

Ok. Having played with the bikes a bit, a couple clarifications.

GN250 engines are always 2 valve, no matter what. However, some variants have 2 exhaust ports on the head. Why? Who knows. That would be the GZ250 and the TU 250. The GZ250 has a carb, the TU250 has FI. Otherwise the engines are basically the same.

In China, when it comes to knockoffs, some engines are copies of the GN250, some are copies of a GN125 bored and stroked to 250 ccs. Therefore, some copies have 2 exhaust ports, others have one. Doesn't make any difference in the performance.
