dont get herniated. make the young guy at work do all the heavy stuff. be like,'eh, tuff guy, c'mere an pick this up'. fugem, make em work. you know, so you can live longer.
And she will be stitching those covers with a custom 1928 Singer 66 that am currently working on. Just finished stripping the paper cover off the case and re-finished the wood and stained. I also put stainless steel cable around the outside edges of the cover that are recessed into the wood. Next I am going to clearcoat the wood to make it look kinda like a bowling ball finish, and then she wants the machine fire engine red and black. While I have it apart I am going to hand polish every moving part inside to make it run smooth as glass. The new motor, pedal, belt and wiring ect. will be here in a day or so.Singer 66.jpg

    I already ordered a 35 rear sprocket.

Looks like all i need to do now when I get the bike:
-Drill a few holes in the battery vox
-Change the oil with a nice synthetic
-Replace the spark plug with an NGK (what type and what gap? Im sure its already been posted a million times but ive have not read too far in yet)
    - Tune the carb

Anything else I need to know?
Don't take too many links off the chain, lol. Triple check your measurement. I can't remember how many I took off, that
was about a year and a half ago for me...

Well, my battery has finally gone bad. I remember the old posts and don't want to have to modify the box.
Let you know what I find.

God Goodbar, started the bike up today, 70f here today, put it in full choke cranked. fired and idled like a baby to open. Course I had to take it for a spin just to take advantage of those cylinder break in strokes. Got the new carb filter and I know you think a little thing like that won't make a difference but being the optomist that I am the thing made a great difference. Just looking inside it you know you got a big lean down. More power, less pop and more thump, just great. Was kind of bummed as it didn't clamp down good at first and was interfearing with the throtttle assembly. I took it over to my CNC bench grinder and ground down the connecting flange and put a little negative rake into it ,works great now. Drove by a guy on a Harley, I thought he was going to get a broken neck. So little flash , so much class. As promised:100_0798.jpg100_0800.jpg100_0801.jpg100_0802.jpg100_0803.jpg The last pic is my cnc grinder after the flange mod.
