What kind of head work are you thinking about?

    Bob,
Did you check the jets in the 2012 model and find them increased from the jets in the 2010 model?
    Thanks

I haven't checked my jets. I read in this thread that at some point the stock jets were resized in the later versions of the 2010 models and since I have not had a problem with any lean burns with mine I am assuming that is the case with the 2012 model. I look forward to see what you find.

I changed out the headlight on mine to a h5006 and put a switch on it so I can turn it all off if I want.

The headlight on my 2012 dims but not as bad as the one on my previous 2010 where the fix was just connecting the blue/white to the blue/white.

What is the headlight fix for the 2012 model? I saw Bob's fix back in post 3644 and am wondering if that is it?

When I had my tank off the other day I saw the blue/white connected to the green but could not find another blue/white like use to be on the 2010 model.

Is there a wiring diagram for the 2012?
    Thanks

Barnone, I couldn't find the wire either so I did what I did. The last page in the manual they sent with mine has a wiring diagram. If you need it I'll send you a copy. It has a bunch of things that are on the other models but it seems true to the circuits of the gear on our bikes.

I looked at the wiring diagram and after checking my 2012 bike's headlight with the engine running, I am happy with the way it works as is. It does dim a little when the brake is applied so I might replace the brake/tail light with a LED one. Seems like we use to do that on the 2010.
    Is it a 1157?
