I bought a a rotary file for my drill and cleaned up the inside of the handlebars so I could fit the bar end turn inside them. Drilled two holes in the underside of the bars to route the wires.

Turn signals for 7/8" handlebars at

I removed the stock turn signals and wired up the bar end turn signals to the front turn signal wires.

I used some cable wrap to clean thing up and now with the rear turn signals gone, I can start on a rear rack.

The bar diameter is 7/8". I think I will order some that are a little wider as the ones I had laying around the shop that I put on the bike are only 28 1/2".
Vince, would you be so kind as to show me a closeup of these bars you put on..I am looking for something similar and do not know the dimensions,or where to get them. really appreciate it.

I bought the bars off Ebay but don't remember the vendor. They are 32" wide, 7/8" in diameter, approximately 4"rise and 4" swept back. I think they are too wide and plan to cut about an inch off each end next time I have them off.

Actually I didn't give the stock bars a good test and plan to put them back on when I return to Florida where I left them. I would like to get a set of flat black stock bars if anyone has a set they want to sell.

This is what I am shooting for but not in red.
Flat head V-Twin would be my motor of choice.

still haven't gotten my plate yet, that tropical storm lee, and labor day kind of screwed me. i did get my title in the mail though. i would just take a ride on it, but, the cops here will pull you over quick for not having a plate, which wouldn't be a huge deal cause i have my paperwork for the bike, but i don't have an endorsement yet, and i live about 2 blocks from the sheriff's headquarters, so here i wait til my plate comes in.

well i picked up my plate today. i didn't have much time to go for a ride so i just zipped around the block a few times. everything seems to be working fine, shifts real smooth, and i love the loud pipe. the weather here is supposed to be really nice for the next 4 or 5 days so hopefully i'll get to take a longer ride sometime this week.

barnone, i did post 2 photos of her, post #992, i haven't modified or added anything to the bike yet so she looks just like she did when she came out the crate. wen i get a chance to take a good ride i'll post some more pics(so far i've only put 6 miles on it riding around the neighborhood), or when i modify or add something i will also post more pics, i'm just not sure what i'm going to do to it yet.
