are these engines compatible (plug and play)?

Are there any existing BBK's for the RTB and RTC's?

Maybe they are plug and play but who knows? They are all CG Honda clones.

I also found a 300cc version of the CG250 in China but it is not EPA approved so can't be imported into the USA.
Maybe someone in Canada can import it?

BBK for 167FMM (also called CG250)

    axa,
I was thinking the same thing.
I sent MBE Motorsports an email asking if it is really a six speed and to verify 15 KW (20.39 horsepower).

I was all over this engine upgrade this morning, 20hp would be not only a bit surprising but well worth the time but the cost is a consideration. I'm not that far from MBN to that if its actually plausible i may take a trip to pick it up if it might save a few bucks.

Else perhaps if we get enough people interested, we can have them look at importing this 300cc cylinders you talk about, and put together a kit for us.

Another option for me if all this doesn't pan out, is to take a detour to the guangzhau motorcycle market in Baiyun when i get back to Asia next season.
Perhaps a new engine will count as a carry on...

I suppose the very last option would be to get a spare cylinder and bore it out on my lathe. Of course this is not something i want to find out i screwed up on when doing 70...

Anyway, i put the jockey shift project on permanent hiatus, all i really need is more power

Given the compression ratio (11:1) and with proper timing engine & ignition and carb size, I think the 20hp is correct.
Not mind blowing, but with the right gearing, 80mph would be possible.

I speak from experience, on My Yamaha 250.

    I asked MBE

"is your 250cc vertical air cooled engine 170FMM really a six speed?"

and the answer from them is

"Well that is what the supplier tells us.

    Thanks

    Martin B.
    info@mbe-motorsports.com

    Kind of funny answer.

Maybe we can get a group buy to lower the price.

I haven't pulled the cylinder head yet, but I'd like to know if anybody has found a parts supplier for the engine before I try to tear it down.

Per requests, here are photos of the spark plug. It's an NGK plug I had replaced for the original plug.
    the engine still spin ?
