Hate to tell "US" old timers but, The CVT is HERE ! We finally have the tuff enough materials and the understanding of them to make them perform better than a manual shift and without losing if not more efficientcy . My girlfriends 260 JCL scooter will out accelerate my Ninja 250 to 40 mph (If I'm not out & out drag racing) and still has a nice cruising speed of about 70 + . , And gets 70-80 MPG. And forget about the Fang Bobber, She will beat it in ALL categories, except the COOL category ofcourse. And shes at least 190 LBS. PS I still ride my Fang Bobber though. lol

you do realize i am speaking about my df250rtb here. as i simply state i cant relate. or does someone think i am talking about riding a totally other cycle while i laugh at holding up traffic on a df? that could be. its like thinking a surprised reaction to a seemingly low price is an offer for $. you know. wipe before you shit kinda stuff.
a new thread is a good idea. dongfang df250rtb gostartyourownthreadaboutyourbike. then we can talk about dfrtb only. there are places in here that are loaded with entire vacations on NON-df bikes. wow. whats that about. its funny who complains about what on this tread. this is where i would like to use a big word but...

I guess you can do what you want but it seems to me that you should not clutter up this thread that is dedicated to the DF250RTB.

If I wanted a Morphus discussion I would go to a Morphous thread or site.

I think most people would agree, this thread painfully long.
Many forums restrict to "on topic posts only" due to things just like this.

No offense but the fact that the Morpheus or any other bike has better acceleration than this threads dong fang is irrelevant.

Its the same reason you will find many forums restrict "gloats" as well,
No body wants to hear it, especially when it doesn't further the conversation about the DF.

Wouldn't it be nice to quickly go back and find post about a part your searching for.
Wouldn't it have been nice for a new follower to quickly read through the thread since inception.

Unless it furthers the discussion about the DFRTB250, then why don't we all keep it to ourselves.
We all post a questionable topic every once in a while, but here i see 3 in a row about absolutely nothing but a gloat about some arbitrary scooter.

Thus we are arguing about this now....
I just turned off email updates cause of this nonsense.

My Dyson has way better suction than my friend's hoover. All my buddies are jealous that it sucks up all the dirt off the line... and they have to spend a lot of time going back and forth over the same spot...
