Yep, make a plate out of 1/8" aluminum to block it off and put a cap on the port on the intake manifold like Bob suggested.

Same engine as our DF. You can build it, why not?

Take off the fitting that the hose attaches to and use it as a pattern.

Edit: (You can just crimp the end of that fitting in a vise which will block it off for a temp or perm fix).

Good to see you back, albeit I've been absent for some time now. As for the Douglas kit, I'd think the motor would be the only part that would crossover.

Bike looks awesome!

I got the plate to block the secondary air intake system. I have yet to ride it due to cold and snow. Is there anything I should do after installing the plate or is it more or less bolt on and go?

Bolt it on and get the cap for the port on the intake manifold and you are good to go after you remove all the AIS plumbing.

You got any ideas for more motor for the DF since you are in the business?
That is the only thing lacking on my 2012.
