14,600 plus miles on these tires, and not a problem .. thank the man above. Starting to show a little wear. But overall still in great shape.
Weather has been up and down around here, supposed to rain today, but Rode into work anyway. Figure if I get wet on the way home, oh well., still got to ride this morning.

bowtiewagon,
You are the mileage king on the DF. I have just 3k on mine, four other bikes to ride. Good to see that you are getting good life out of the tires.Last edited by barnone; 07-08-2015 at 02:28 AM.

06-29-2015, 06:25 PMThat's pretty good longevity from a street tire! I get great mileage from tires also. Had a 2005 KLR650 and got just over 12,000 before I replaced it. The front got close to 15,000. Those were all street miles. Our SYM HD200 is now approaching 16,000 miles and still has decent tread on both tires.

Well although I may be the mileage king, it comes with a price.Parts only last so long. I have now surpassed the 15,000 mile mark, but 18 miles into that,I snapped my throttle cable. Rigged it enough to get it home. It snapped about 1/2 inch from the barrel nipple on the throttle grip. I had to cut back some of the outer casing, thread it through the unions, then actualy put a knot in the end of the cable. Got me home. Now looking for a replacement. Interesting thing, it seems this is a split cable which also works what i assume is the accelerator pump in the carb.( am I correct in this assumption?) Anyway. Hit ebay, contatced a guy with this cable,
http://www.ebay.com/itm/331352330745...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT, to find out the overall length. Figured it had all the correct ends on it, and might work. Plus pressed for time, need one like now...
If you have any ideas as well... they would be appreciated.Thanks.

07-21-2015, 08:25 PMHaving a difficult time finding a replacement battery. I have a TET 12N9-BS that measures 5-1/4"H x 2-7/8"D x 5-1/4"W (134mm x 73mm x 134mm). Everything I'm finding is 137 x 75 x 135 or bigger. The extra height is keeping me from inserting the battery into it's box.
What have others used for replacement batteries? Exact make and model number please.
/Mike
