Looks like Thailand is treating you well...very nice bike!
Kind of puzzled as to why you sold your JH600 for 40% of the original purchase price? Heck, if you had posted it here I would have given you at least half of what you paid so I could send it to be farkled by Pfaelzer.
Pattaya...enjoy the land of smiles
Cheers!

Sawadee 123,
I first came to SE Asia courtesy of Uncle Sam (US Army) 1968~9. I took SCUBA training in Pattaya in 1968 when the North end of Pattaya beach was a US Military R&R camp, there were 2 small bamboo bars at the South end of the beach on either side of a large spirit tree and... Not much else in between. Things were a little different then from now. 2 large BBQ shrimp, fried rice & a Singha beer in one of the bars was about $2. If you wanted to sample some of the "renewable-resource" of one of the "bar maidens" it was less than the aforementioned food & drink.
I am a contract worker USA citizen married to Thai people with my home in Thailand. I live 15 minutes outside Pattaya & also have a home & rice farm in NE Thailand near Cambodia. I usually do not work in Thailand as I make much more working outside. I specialize in quality management, nondestructive testing, welding & welding inspection related to fabrication and construction of heavy steel structures, machinery & pressure parts. My last 2 years in Xinhui was as Quality Director for Foster Wheeler Power's primary boiler shop exporting power generation equipment world-wide.
In a few weeks looks like I will be returning to Wuhan, China on contract with another company to develop/improve their quality system/personnel for a few years.Every Day .... An Adventure

This being a place where most everything can be "rented" for a price
You can rent a Harley and a "back-rider" from one of several places & we can take a ride around
Looks like I'll be in Wuhan for a long term contract starting later this month so... I'll most likely be looking for a "made-in-China" 250 to get out of "Wonderful" Wuhan on weekendsEvery Day .... An Adventure
