well.. one section of the terrain we encounter during the ride up to Mt.Qoomolangma was too much for my skill, experience
and perhaps the altitude was also a factor for the machine. so we have to shelf one bike and share another to continue our journey.
Otherwise the machine was all good... then again.. the up and downs are all part of an adventure travel! .. ;)

Well good to hear all riders made it home in one piece anyway!

Speaking of altitude sickness, did you guys have to fiddle with the carbs at that altitude? How does the CJ behave at 4000m, i've never been close to that high with mine?

Maybe Peter can answer that. I'm still a novice in bikes.
but for the engine behavior .. at times the bike is at crawling speed especially when we're going to a higher altitude and slopes.
it chokes , but that maybe due to the heat. the 32hp engine fair much better than the 24hp.
nonetheless we all made it as high as 5200m.. and back!

by the way..just realize I read your "My CJ750, or the story of how i came to be in China" way back last year.
This trip to Tibet was partly your fault.
and I'm in the midst of getting my D license in order to ride the CJ750 legally here. (could only get my license to be converted to E.. 2 wheels!)
    and indirectly your fault too!

Not bad.. my video just got nominated for the 'Video of the Month'

Video : Cruising The Roof of The World

anyway, win or not I'm working on the longer version now.
I've so much more scenes on Tibet to share than in that short trailer.
