ChinaV, your converter renders it all into simplified chinese, but does nothing to adapt to mainland USAGE -- which can be quite different from Ta*wan/HK usage. We're talking actual vocabulary differences like bonnet/hood, lorry/truck, etc, rather than just spelling differences like armour/armor. I very much look forward to humanbeing's mainlandification.

My Chinese isn't half bad, and most of those terms are correct, there are only a few small differences, and they may laugh at you but still understand :)
I recently went with RichardKTM and a few other blokes to the Guangzhou bike market and we struggled like hell to find a new air filter because we didn't know how to say it, eventually we figured it out through a lot of trail and error.. and sure enough it's a air filter 空氣濾清器 kong qi lu qing qi, so I think this list should work in most cases :)

Pronunciation from "those" KTV girl are HORRIBLE. They can't sung "深" in TWese song. "心" is correct term in "those" place
