03-07-2011, 03:22 AMThe drain plug on our Jialing JH600 is described in the manual as M14x12. Does the 12 mean it's 12mm in length? The only magnetic M14 plug I've found subsequent to Felix's post is this one, described as M14x1.5. As you can see (if you click on the link) it has a protuberance that presumably extends 3mm deeper into the case. How would one check whether there is sufficient clearance to use this plug?

Here's a chart with bolt sizes in metric. I suppose you can check if there's enough clearance if you stick your finger in. But 3mm? Of course there's enough clearance for 3mm. It's not bolted against a flat surface. At least it's clear from most motorcycles I've seen.
What's up with MJH? He's all over the forum with similar posts today ??!!

MJH you are a valued member here and probably no more insane than any of the rest of us. However today some of your posts are offensive or at least very much on the edge as you are no doubt very aware.
Please check yourself over and try and calm down or whatever you usually do to rein yourself in. If it is meds then take one, if it is anger or hurt for something off forum then PM me and I will happily talk, even on phone.
If you are just trying to be a bastard like me then you are failing, not pulling it off. Relax man.Kinlon R/T KBR JL200GY-2
