I think you should be patient after all the meditation and loving care you have spent so far on bonding with your machine, it would be a shame to waste it with a premature ejaculation into the cold, harsh world of close-to-zero temperatures and howling wind, think of it as a birth, a rebirth, a ceremony of breaking in.

You should wait for the coming equinox, it is not long, just on the 20th of March. It is the time of new beginnings, so you must stand naked in your workshop next to your new 'bike, scrub yourself down with snow saved for the purpose, whip yourself with juniper branches and prepare yourself with completely new clothes, right down to the silk underwear, preferably yellow. Your 'bike should also be lovingly prepared with new golden oils and juices of every necessary kind. them after a suitable prayer according to your faith, you get on her and gently ride into the sunrise. I am sure the experience will then be wonderful for you both. When you return, just a gentle rubbing down to remove any dirt or excess juices from the experience will be all you need.

This is the gentle way, the 'bike whisperer's way. Don't listen to the brutes who will say, 'jump on, slap her arse and go for it' you will end up with a sullen and always unwilling ride You chose the path of adoration and worship, follow it through or suffer the consequences, listen to your heart, not your balls.

I would say don't break-in her at all. Just place her in your living room, polished, like I have heard some Chinese do to their status HDs lol.

Edit: Though I would not have heart to do that. The bikes are meant to be riden. An unused bike is unhappy bike!

Nope can't do that - We're going on a ride this weekend if at all possible, just have to kept alittle cooperation from mother nature! It is supposed to start raining today by noon and continue raining into mid day saturday. I am hoping later Saturday or even sunday We get some dry roads, I don't give a shit if it is 20 degrees - we're outta here! LOL :)

That sounds better. Get yourself a good beef and herself something to drink and new oils during the trip.
