Vacation, the screw you are pointing to is used to drain the gas from the bowl. You would do this if you are changing/checking the jets. It doesn't come into play in regard to any idle/tuning issues you are having.

"Chopsticks" machine are very easy to tell from that "navel".

Engine: Piston 67 mm if need rebuilt... These engine is simple & had LONG life. IF u are that (un)lucky, Honda cg125 service manual is good reference.

    jape,
Thanks for the tuning manual for the PZ26 which is same as the PZ30 (30mm instead of 26mm) on my Dang Fong bobber so I will steal the url to put in the bobber thread.

Jeff, you can find stuff without VIN - if you look on the emissions sticker there is an engine type number, 9TMPC 196TPI
This is the designation no. by USA EPA testing authorities and unlocks further details:
    http://www.epa.gov/otaq/cert/veh-cer...r-02-01-10.csv

I am still curious about the Zhongshen engine designation on that dealer's web site.

I like hearing the excitement in your voice, VT, and I'm guessing it has to do with a whole more than just saving gas. Like maybe having a bit of fun? And what's with this springtime weather there. I expected you'd still be under snow there in Muncie, but then again, it is daylight savings time. It was warm and sunny here in Shanghai too, and i expect I'll be out shaking out the cobwebs this week on my JH600.

Congratulations on a sweet lookin', fun lovin' new bike.

    cheers
