I have heard, the very 1st Day they arrived, the silver Bike was sold.
here is more information, provided by Jim:

Our neighbor, TP China, who has been building really cool Bobbers has a new line of bikes from Confederate.
He's got 3 bikes in his showroom today. I heard the selling prices are between RMB 780,000 and 1 million (US$ 120,000-150,000).
They have quite a few hi-tech features such as carbon fiber frame tube (hollow because it holds the oil for the motor), carbon fiber rims,
Some beautiful welding on the aluminum pieces. The bikes weigh in between 220 and 240 kgs (lighter than my Triumph Bonneville).
Just a few years ago, seeing any big imported motorcycles in China was impossible.
    Regds,
    Jim

If you are like me and read enough bike porn you're bound to come across these exotic creatures. But never in my wildest dreams did I think the Confederate P-120 Fighter would start pitching up in China.

Wonder what happens when you roll up on one of these at the Beijing Vehicle Management Bureau....

Wow those are some very futuristical design. Did not even know of Confederates brand. Had to do some googling. Amazing bikes like that are being manufactured. Must be very niche market. I could however take the Fighter.

About $50 000. I would just have to become very very rich first!

Hmmmmm ... only one couple I know who is THAT rich ... Sabine, did you & Thomas buy it?

As for the bikes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Euphonius brings up a good point ... I'd pay money for a ringside seat to see the new owner try to register the beast, including watching some yokel with a drill make some holes in the forks to mount the front plate.

K, I bet I wont even photograph the Fighter ever then.

Edit: I think Chinese have a clue when they buy bikes and park them on their living room. Of what I have heard and seen of Chinese traffic and roads I might prefer to park mine Fighter to the living room as well instead of driving it in China.

Would be such a pain in the rectum to ride one of these here, imagine the crowd of 50 people every time you stop at the lights! And always the same question: "How much?"

Luckily these bikes aren't made for riding. I'd love to see one in real life though, what a piece of metal!

Rofl, one more reason to park on the living room.

And yeah, the bike is amazing feat of engineering. She is like Cambridge graduate aristochrat who you can take missionary way in good conditions once a week. Then again, you can do her hard if you will. She will not complain, she will just scream louder.
