OK, I really want this Long March, so I talked with the seller on taobao using my google.translate skills. This is the conversation. As I understand it he says Shineray has this certificate, but then i get lost. does he say you need it only for outside country, or the outside country version has it? please don't laught at my translations;)

The seller is claiming that the Shineray now is China3 compliant, and can be registered anywhere in China, including Beijing. Needless to say, if that's true, the bike will come with proper documentation attesting to the fact. Even if it's true that the current XY200GY-7 is China3-compliant, you want to be sure he's not flogging you last year's model, which is only China2-compliant. You should indeed check with the good folks at Shineray.

Where is the seller, and can you do your due diligence in person? Looks like he's in Chongqing, near the factory.

    good luck!

Sounds great! I would buy it anyway from the factory. I'm not going to Chongqing, someone wrote you can have it home delivered. BTW price on taobao 8800RMB

I bought my Jialing directly from the factory in Chongqing, which is the only place you can buy the JH600. They shipped it here, and all was fine. If a taobao seller offers a better price than the factory, something is fishy.

    good luck!

8800 is what I paid the Shineray dealer for my Long March. That was the asking price, and Bů piányi .. not 1 quai less.. and no gadgets or dongshi's ... well, i did get a cheapo helmet. My bike is the 2010 model ..

    Hi there!

I am about to do my drivers licence and was planning to buy a Shineray Long March as well. What a bummer that this bike can no longer be registered! How about any other 200 or 250cc DS/Enduros? Are there any China Builds that are already C3 compliant? Any QingQis or Galaxys? If anybody has more information on this, please post! Thanks,

    Fahni

Last month I gave a call to Galaxy in Jiangsu, they told me the bike "would" be ready middle of June... I am checking this on internet now with trough google translate, not too sure about exact date, maybe next month

Looks like some people abroad already got some XTR with EFI overseas (one guy had trouble with the injection issue), so it seems like they can already produce this type but are may on process to make it legal with governmental registration

Not too sure about what I say (and maybe not clear neither because of my poor english, sorry I'm french )

If somebody is fluent Chinese and has a bit of spare time to confirm, that would be really great
