03-31-2011, 01:13 AMSacramento! Four chinabikes! 2LZ, you must have some tall tales to tell. Tons and tons of great riding in the Sierra foothills. Envy! Welcome indeed.
So what are you riding now? Where do you ride? How about indulging us with some pix? Looking forward to your posts.

04-01-2011, 07:54 PMHey guys! Sure! Some bike pics and great riding here in Nor Cal....both street and trail.
Here's the CB's that got us into them. 2 Hensim 150DB. I couldn't justify 3500.00 a piece for the Big 4 bikes. I just wanted some 3/4 size trail bikes for Mrs 2LZ and I to use a few times a year with our pop-up camp trailer.
After just a few months...I was amazed at how good these performed. I was sold....
Then, I wanted something bigger....so I sold one of the Hensims and bought this X-Moto. It needed WAY more cleaning up but is a great bike now.
Then, I was salavating over a Q Link and loe and behold, they became legal in the California so Mrs 2LZ brought one home for my birthday a couple weeks ago! I was in shock!
Now, my buddy's buying the other Hensim and she's getting my X-moto!
Here's a taste of one of our outings. This is at about 7000 feet, north of Truckee Ca. Mrs 2LZ and he awesome little Hensim 150DB. The fire roads thread all through the Sierra Nevada.
Our other bikes:
My 2002 Victory TC
The Lovely and Gracious Mrs 2LZ and her custom 2006 Victory Kingpin. The gal can ride. Trust me.
Me and my 1974 Ironhead Chopper from "Back in the Day". This bike is still very much in my life. I sold it to Mrs 2LZ brother. He rides the heck out of it.
Last but not least, the bike that tried to kill me the most. My 1974 Husky 250 GP Mikkola Replica. To brutal to ride anymore! Just can't sell it though.....
Thanks for having me aboard guys!

Thanks for sharing 2LZ, nice stable! Amazing how much fun you can have with two wheels and an engine, regardless of the details!

Welcome 2LZ - great pics - I absolutely love Victory MCs (those in-the-know switch over from you-know-what). Be nice if they ever come to China (I just read that Victory is setting up shop in India). We should compare "back in the day" pics, as it seems we are about the same vintage, with the same tastes. I hear ya about the Husky!

Thank you very much of the pics and words. I have to say I envy your off-road places. + Husky or Husse as we say in Finland is legendary like Maico.
I would be interested to hear comments about Victory vs HD. Any difference?
