04-10-2011, 01:07 AMI took a look at this same page a while ago while trying to find more info about the YBR 250. I couldn't stop looking at the RT-01; it's such a beast. Just imagine if you had someone on the back of that bike right next to the exhausts... I don't think it would be fair to put someone through that.

04-10-2011, 04:59 AMI used a free 14 day account on Smugmug to upload a ton of photos of the YBR 250. I will begin with a couple of pose photos (not me... the bike).

04-10-2011, 05:11 AMThe seat cover: before and after removal
Most of the wires you can see are from the alarm kit that I had installed the other day. ZMC888 helped me wrap the wires up nice and tidy with some little cable ties.

The seat-opening lock is hidden down here. Pops open and shuts nicely .

04-10-2011, 05:24 AMThe battery and little tool kit are strapped down tightly with a cool little rubber strap and metal latch.

Nothing rattles. Smooth and sound .Last edited by soberpete; 04-20-2011 at 10:30 AM.

04-10-2011, 05:33 AMA very chunky exhaust. Full of emission controlling technology.

Based on a recommendation from ZMC888 I may replace the stock exhaust after a while of use and a lot of studying on how to get more power from the YBR without disturbing any of the processes inside it's complicated (to me anyway) 250i engine.Last edited by soberpete; 04-20-2011 at 10:34 AM.

Took the bike out for a quick 30-40km ride in the local hills, when Pete was away this weekend, had a chance to ride some proper corners!
The bike handles seriously well! No muscle is required to introduce the bike into any corner, bike seems to drop into the corners. The 17 inch wheels with the Sakura Street-Shark tires are a great combination, a very confidence inspiring ride. I was always wary just because it is such a new bike and not mine though.
