04-07-2011, 06:27 AMHi im thinking about buying a new bike and im wondering if anybody has got any experience with the apollo/hyeng brand? I'd like to have your opinon on build quality /construction etc on these and also the availability of parts. The place where im about the order from does'nt sell pre-assembled ones. What should you think about in general when buying a bike on the internet?
The only bad thing i managed to spot is that the side covers seems to be threaded to the lower part of the tank

Thats the bike :)
Thanks in advance

Top speed is only 30 mph that would bother me…..they come with a restrictive on the two stroke and seems its restricted to either 25,30 or 45km/h the top speed is only 30mph? What’s even odder is that it has a six speed the Norwegian site says its limited to 25km/h and with a six speed? That’s 15.5 miles an hour and your shifting through six gear to get there?
I think if it only goes 30mph then it does not need a 6-speed and for the price you could buy three 50cc scooters.
For less you could get a similar 125cc 4-stroke and get better performance.
What does strypt mean…translates to strangled? They have (strypt) next to the Maxhastighet which they have at 25km/h? yeah that makes sense…
If you know how to unrestricted it and you can get away with doing that then maybe it has something more then 45km/hr and then the six-speed would have some value…but I think it would scream like a banshee up to 50mph maybe? But its interesting because the sixth gear could drop the rpm and unrestricted it could be ok….but its expensive.
