Thats not what the article states.SUNL was over whelmed with liability lawsuits last year and filed for bankruptcy protection.this article simply says that the LLC is gone and any subsequent rulings as in any agreement or resolution with the CPSC is longer withstanding. Basically the articles states that if you bought a Youth ATV or any other SUNL product and expect to get anything from themyou cant the LLC no longer exists.
SUNL was only a distributor and sold from a list of Chinese manufactures. They are gone been gone but the products they sold linger in the market.and some are still being manufactured certainly the very common parts they often share are.
Like the KUNG FU 250 and others.
What happens typically is that a distributor cannot pay the bills and closes up and the inventory, either is auctioned off or slipped out the back door, sometimes they keep the inventory in satellite warehouses and do not reveal those on the books. The bikes do not disappear until they are sold and eventually wear outfall apart or are parted out.
I would not buy onebut SUNL products were all basically the same or variation of the same things many sold over the past few years online.http://www.extreme-scooters.com/motorcycleStore.htm

I remember a few years ago, SunL was trying to make a comeback, vowing to have parts and better quality. They seemed like they were trying to be Roketa-ish with their lineup. They had some bigger engine bikes such as this one http://www.t-motorsports.com/product...ed-motorcycle/ and the forementioned Kung Fu 250.

Sunl is now Massimo motors, still sporting the same address as before.
http://www.massimomotor.com/
They are the distributor for Yingang. Massimo is marketing the Yingang products under the Yingang name.
Massimo is linked into a very elaborate part site, called motosports parts. However the indexing is bizarre, still set up like a rummage sale. No parts for sale for the Yingang though. This is the link off the Massimo site that offers parts…http://www.motosportsparts.com/s.nl/sc.14/.f
The YGR250 sport bikes are for sale online though. At this site http://www.mxmotorsports.us/category-s/306.htm
Massimo is selling the last of the KUNGFU 250 bikes…special offer LOL the price is at $10,000.00?

Free shipping too? They also have a way for owners to chime in and review the bike they buy. Which nobody has yet.
To me it is all kind of unnecessary, the ideal format is the one Loncin Canada uses one simple link and parts lists that are linked to a shopping cart. http://www.loncin.ca/
Seems silly to buy from an online distributor that sell to an online dealer. In reality they are just distributed warehouses, with poor communication between them. The distributor could sell direct and then offer direct access to parts.
If a person needed a part they should be able to just order it online. The use of general categories for parts is silly, when all that is needed is a blow up diagram and related parts lists for each specific model. There is no need for picturesthe part number should be associated with the blow up diagrams.
In that as the model evolves they could offer bulletins and in that kits and instructions to add the revision to the bike.
Like better brake systems, better radiator, better air box and carburetion or even the EFI system? Each with instructions and the related prices, even an estimate of labor hours if an owner took it to a mechanic for the work.
