Miffy, you should be okay. HB is saying they are different belts so, if you check, don't be surprised if they aren't the same.

How much did they charge for shipping? Just curious as I know it's not a large or heavy part, but for these pesky parts it could be a god-send for people (like you) not able to find parts locally.

I ordered one of these belts for my V5 last year after my stock belt broke. The new belt lasted a whole 370 miles before it shredded and left me walking my bike a mile home. I contacted their customer support, and they wouldn't stand behind their product.
Buyer beware, you get what you paid for.

My wife and I had a scooter in China which also shredded belts. The problem wasn't the belt but the pulley it was attached too wasn't variating properly. Did you fix the problem with a correct belt?

I assumed it was the belt since the original one lasted several thousand miles. I've been looking for a Kevlar belt, but haven't had any luck finding one reasonably priced. I haven't been able to ride since mid-summer last year. My local CF Moto dealer can't find belts either. I will look into getting the variator replaced to see if that helps the belt lifespan.
