This one looks to extend out more than the current one. Maybe??? Not?

Is it long enough? Does length matter?

Exhaust question guys. If I buy a G&D long exhaust, can I just upjet the carb and leave the air filter alone? Will I need to adjust the needle? I know some people leave the EPA stuff on- how does this work with the G&D? Thinking ahead.

xeta - i got the g&d long exhaust and sent my carb to weaver for the upgrade - took off all the epa stuff - it is a night & day difference over stock!

    evap kit $55
    carb mod $140
    G&D long $225

i think this is the most bang for the buck mod that can be done
i also went with the 16 tooth sprocket & DID chain

    Hi guys,

New to the forum. All the way from South Africa. Getting my new Heist very soon. Been looking for an old school bobber for years to customise (love the old school retro look). At the price (for that matter, any price) I'm sure you'll be hard pressed to find a better looking bike.

Thanks Mikey D for the mod info. That will be done first. followed by hours of tinkering. Great forum. Will post pics on any customising that takes place.

    Enjoy
