It’s a Cagiva design sourced through Asiawing.

The two bikes in their shop, one looks like it has a OHV engine in it, it could be the 229cc engine, the the other in the background has the OHC 4-valve 500cc.

There is also one on the shelve in the other image.

    I believe the Ducati are M3 250s...that was a very powerful 250 27hp.

...than, this one has common CG clone (up to 229 cc), but "Misfit" 500 will be fitted with "Asiawing's" clone of the "Cagiva's" 4 valve, air cooled thumper.

Nice. They really needed that 500 option. They could really bump their presence in the market with this.

I am more fascinated with the collection of vintage Mark 3 they have, but they are small bikes. The designs are obviously an inspiration for the Misfit, but what really made those bikes special was the Desmonic single.
I think if they can get a reliable durable version of the Cagiva engine and they can bring it to the market at a decent price…but look at the prices of their current offerings, they are high.
In the UK you are seeing a flood of the 125cc retro bikes and also the 400cc single from Shineray is also following the same path.
Lexmoto just launched its version of the GS125 based retro their “Valiant” at about $2,000.00, it’s the least cost so far. The CCW Ace lacks the 249cc engine….but has the price as if it does have that engine. Sinnis offers it in the UK for $3,400.00. That model should be here in a $2,500.00 200cc version and for $3200 with a 249cc version. They can keep the little Misfit and the Heist with the 229cc thats fine but the others they did not get it correct.
I would say that this larger bike should come with a 300cc GN and the 500cc Cagiva (Asiawing). Both are four valves and have dual exhausts, higher outputs and with oil coolers. $3,500.00 and $4,700.00 for those.

They could drop the prices on the 229cc versions to $2600.00, offer only black and then sell custom parts for them, it’s pretty obvious that the little misfit could be dolled up to look like a Vintage Mark3. I would consider setting up something in China to supply parts. For anything light weight, shipped direct. Fuel tanks are not that heavy. They could be custom painted and shipped direct.
If they want more sales everything has to come down in price, it’s been the case all along.
Also any offering needs global distribution partnering. That being feeding OEM business to the factory. Orders that increase simply because somebody else is buying the bikes and selling them under their brand in other global markets in alignment. Like Poland, Britain, France...

Don't know if anyone else has said this before, but MJH, zorg and the others here are a wealth of info, and I am gaining a lot from your experiences, Thank you all.

    Cheers!
