The NHSTA has the responsibility of due diligence, they should accept the names only if they can be legally identified. They are not listing any and in that all that have no agent of process listed are in fact selling the vehicle illegally.


The big question is that the FTC allows these vehicle to enter the ports without that regulation being met. When the vehicle enter the port they should be held and both the NHSTA and the Manufacturer should be notified. The vehicles should be held until compliance is meet, the FTC should also notify the EPA and they should take testing measures in these instances.
