    Hi guys,

here are some details and pic of my model bike,
athough the pic is from a brochure,
as mine is in bits atm,
a spec sheet and some pics of my reason to post, the front forks..

Can anyone provide some service hints, manual on forks or even better the whole bike or some personal experience with the forks and in particular the correct or any other way of reloading new oil into the forks upon reassembly.
I have my own theory although not from experience.
There is an air valve also at the bottom end.
What grade of oil would suit most, 5,10 or 15.

    Thanks guys,

    Jim.

Lots of general info there although I know you're tried to be as specific as possible. Probably get more responses asking more specific questions.

Regarding tuning the fork, it really depends on what you have as default (spring rate, adjustability, etc.). Fork oil weight depends on your personal weight, type of riding and style.

Ok...forget about the grade of oil then,
the rest is to the point, there is the type of bike i have, a spec sheet, a pic of the forks etc....does anyone have any info?
How about how much oil is needed in each fork?, does anyone have a manual for the forks and/or for this bike, or link?

    Thankyou.

You seem to have hit a dead period here when all the knowledgeable folk are away or fast asleep or uninterested Jim. Sorry about that. This is a very pleasant community and sometimes very helpful but overall never the best for mechanical stuff. Unfortunate but true, unless you catch someone's interest or find something general on forks in the archives using the internal search. I know some here have modded them and changed oil and springs because I have read of it in posts but not necessarily for your model of bike. Maybe the methods are the same anyway?

You could try Spudrider over at chinariders http://www.chinariders.net/modules.php?name=Forums in the USA as those guys are usually more awake and often helpful and unfailingly polite when it comes to mods and mechanicals and new members. Spud is also Zhongshen parts dealer which may help. Or else some of the more general dirt bike forums have mechanical assistance areas.
