    Hello,

Im very new to the forum. Just fancied putting a post up saying iv just started to rebuild my 08 rmr 125.

This bike has done me proud since i bought it when it was a nearly a year old, sadly though we have both been through the wars over the last couple of years.

It was iv very good condition when i bought it but due to poor weather conditions here in blighty and the lack of a garage (its packed with junk xD) so little time has took a great tole.

On the lighter side of things She (Shes called Katie :D) will soon be back up and running In the near future. Im giving a rough estimate of 2 months to have it finished to to lack of time on my hands at the moment.

Pictures will be posted as soon as i get the chance

I hope the re-build will help with anyone else thinking of doing this.

Thank you for your time :)

    DaNjamin

That's great danjamin, always good to see people taking care of their bikes!

Thanks for the pics, looking forward to following this rebuild over the next couple of months. You planning to do any modifications along the way? Good luck with it anyway!

    Hi

    Thanks guys for commenting.

I'm adding a few after market parts. The main few are due to an accident i was in and lost my head light and front fender. so i will be putting Polisport plastics on it.
I have a de-restricted CDI, performance exhaust, free flow air filter, new front performance calliper with sinted pads. all to go on some of which i already own.

I will be changing the colour of it. I hope it all comes out alright.

I have some more pictures to upload of the frame after iv sprayed it. As well as some problems that have arisen such as the exhaust down pipe rust welded itself to the head. :@

The forks are the stock USD's (they both need re sealing :@)

Thanks guys and i will repost soon

could do in china Qingqi have been testing a 250cc version of there liger SM for a while now theres a review of it on here by china V not the same engine but should be of similiar size being a suzuki 250cc air cooled unit just need to make your own engine mounts that are strong enought to hold it
