I'd be curious how many people were killed in car accidents in the same period. I'd wager that it far exceeds 46.

Ban cars! (Or at least enforce the laws fairly...)

As Rich said it's a CQR, but CQR is a very loose idea of a bike, basically it's a frame, you can choose the engine, the shocks, the wheels etc etc, so not one CQR is like another, they range from about 3500RMB all the way up to about 7500RMB depending on the engine, wheels and accessories you choose.

The best place to buy CQRs from is yueye023.taobao.com they are awesome and it's where Martin's bike, which eventually became the BODGEWORX250 which I so fondly rode around in a lot of my village crawl videos before selling it a while ago came from.

They are awesome bikes, and they keep getting better in terms of quality and options, go check out that taobao shop as they have hundreds of configurations to choose from, just remember, spending a little more on the engine and shocks is worthwhile.

Here in Tianjin they just passed a law that cars that are 5 years old or older are not allowed to drive downtown any more (inside middle ring road). Finally a law that makes sense*

*If you're a gov't official tired of getting your Audi mirrors dinged by a truck loaded up with migrant workers headed to the train station to go home for New Year...

I'm just glad to see the same lack of logic applies everywhere! Also, used car prices are plummeting here, ha!
