Welcome, boize. have a dig through the archives and search for sunl. I'm thinking that's a rebadge of a Qingqi, but not certain. Once you find out a bit more about it, you'll probably find a lot of guidance and advice about how to squeeze a bit more muscle out of that 200. But don't get your hopes up too high about speed. That's not much displacement to work with.

Post some pix, and let us know how you get on.

    cheers

What does a Texas tornado and a Tennessee divorce have in common?

In both instances somebody losses their trailer.

Not much difference in those mechanically then one of these….
    http://www.scooterdepot.us/200cc-4-S...ike-p-168.html

    The engine are all similar….

The OHV I think has more torque? The OHC typically has more hp.
    Different versions of under powered…

The QINGQI are much better motorcycles, then those and could be called high end Chinese crap.

If you want fast then get a Bennche….

If the low quality does not bother you….then get one of these.
    http://www.mxmotorsports.us/ProductD...Code=YG-250-NF

They are faster….they have a DOHC 4-valve engine similar to what is in the Bennche….but they have faults.

So if you want fast and Chinese those would be the two choices….there is nothing that will make any of the others bikes even close to anyone’s perception of fast…not anything that would be affordable or something the cheap quality engines could withstand.

I would say that Bennche could have sold more for less, how many more for how much less would be a math problem…but selling more for less can earn more and gain more then pricing too high and not selling that many?

Prices should be based on costs not on perceptions of price based on the price of the perceived competition. They like to compare the bikes to Japanese models and they can but should not.

Too many players in the game….eventually some will be kicked out.

It cost money to do it all correctly and anyone that is not will eventually get kicked out. But it is hard to keep track of it all with all the names and brands and cheap bottom feeders.

You can also get the QLINK/Shineray 250....that if you can find a dealer and afford the price for them to order it for you.

    http://www.qlinkmotor.com/products/products.php?pid=111

That also has a DOHC 4-valve engine.

but the prices....they are products of perceptions that are based of the prices of much higher quality Japanese models.
