    That's funny, MJH

But it would be false advertising since the biggest motor you can get is 180cc in one of those. I do think those bikes make for a more interesting scooter than the standard step-through scooter (no offense step-thru scooter owners ).

Well they charged my credit card on 6/3 so I thought I would be getting my bike soon. I emailed them and asked for status. They said it would be 2 weeks before they would get the RTC. The lady on the phone last week said they had the orange in stock. Sigh.

I think they should not charge your cc until they ship the bike.

Reading the blub on the bike made me laugh:-

It is a motor scooter that looks similar to a motorcycle. It has our same reliable 250cc motor that is in all of our scooters.

Errr any old fool can see it's a motorcycle and not a scooter. Who are they trying to kid?

It's a lovely looking machine though.

Yes. As I said earlier, when they told me it would be 4 - 6 weeks for the color I wanted, I canceled my order. I later thought it would be lame to loose the summer because of color and created a new order with the orange which was the only color they said they had in stock. After I placed my new order, and after my credit card was charged, I emailed them about my order status. Here was their somewhat cryptic response:

"Model RTC is still not here yet. for 2 weeks."

It's now two week since you ordered the motorcycle...did you get it?

Here is a link to another site and it guarantees the lowest prices.

    http://www.superiorpowersports.com/2...sn250mc-sx.htm

I am not second guessing anyone, but if this is all legitimate that being the thread then...consider that Scooter Depot sell the TANK Khaos model and it was made in two colors for 2009 Orange and Black.

They could send you one of those? Which could be alright or riddled with flaws. It like that with the products one is ok an the next one is not....that is what poor quality is...inconsistent quality. But that model that being the TANK has a 234cc twin and would definitely have more power.

THE STX or what ever they want to call it look to have better designed molded plastic parts. But it also has a much lower rated engine.

I would say when you buy online you get a bike in a box…..that’s it I would not expect or even demand much particularly with the very low prices. Most if not almost all the motorcycles share very common parts.

These people selling them may have some parts or can access them…but I doubt that since they have trouble identifying the whole bike and who actually manufactured them. Odd they are really just inept or they play dumb because so much of what they sell is often surrounded with fabrication, not really legal, not really EPA complaint and not really what it claims to be. Lies do catch up with everyone eventually.

I wonder if there is a way to swap a motor, swingarm, and swap the tail on this to make it into a bike. This would be the best looking bike they could make.
