06-03-2011, 09:39 AMHi All,
I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the tool I need to remove the front wheel from my pulse adrenaline as I am needing to replace the speed drive. Its not the normal nut & bolt type on the spindle, it looks like a big Hex Key or Torx. Its kinda like a Negative Nut. I have the Haynes manual, but it only has nuts & bolts on the pic in the book.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Mike
EDIT : I think it might be something like this I need, can anyone confirm? I think its 14mm according to my ruler

Yep, you need a 14mm allen head wrench. You'll need a smaller one to loosen the pinch bolt also. Do not over tighten the pinch bolt when re-installing, however. The bottom of the fork it cast aluminum and overtightening can crack it.
Check out this post as to what happened to McKonker when the dealer overtighted the pich bolt.

A 14mm headed bolt with a couple of nuts locked on it inserted in the axle shaft will work. I put one in my tool kit on the bike.
