Hi after much reading on sprockets for my bike I came to the conclusion I needed to change the front to a smaller 14 tooth for no loss of torque more manageable revs and longer gears with the added bobus of sone top end!

Well the theory works but no extra top end. I would say I lost notorque and the clutch bites better cos you are not trying to put so many revs down. The gears are longer I get to 50 in 4th but when I change to 5th nothing hpens infact I lose about 5-10 mph in the gear change and it slowly builds to 50mph again and stays there!!!!

Why is it doing this? I thought these bikes werent restricted!!??

Not enough power for the higher gearing, but im sure other people have done it with no probs.
