Honda Monkey Bikes on Top Gear 1997. Not sure if this has been posted before but just watched the movies while building M-bike projects again during a rainy Shanghai day....
It's the Top Gear TV show from 1997. They talk about monkey history and modifications, pretty funny 16 year old video.

I remember reading the thread in ADV when it was fresh. People were pony walking their bikes over it, and still were quite shaken. I remember thinking how awesome it would be to drive with Honda Monkey bike over the bridge.

That said, I would probably novadays prefer to do touring in civilized areas and meet people rather than to do that kind of extreme touring.

Hats-off (or helmets lol) anyway for those who go do BAM and stuff.

Anyways, I've seen a couple of instances of people in China losing it, including once at an airport, but not as extreme as this guy ...

Didi you notice the security guard make himself scarce.No way was he getting a keyboard hit around the ear!!!!!!
