#1 Brakes on the QingQi 200 GY06-21-2011, 01:38 PM
I apologize if this question has been covered already but I cannot find it . I am stocking up for a road trip on my QingQi and will be heavily loaded and travelling in mountainous regions for a few thousand km so I am sure to need to replace my brakes at some point.
This bike had front disc- brake and a rear drum-brake. What brakes pads should I get? The brake pads on taobao are so cheap (5-10 RMB), I can't believe that it's as simple as that. What about the drum brake, how does that work? I can't see any pads in the parts manual.

That's for the front. The rear a rarely use. But I have disc brakes on both rear and front..But still it's a good idea to have spare brake pads, at least for the front. Brake pads wear out very quickly if riding in muddy conditions for extensive periods of time.
