    hi all

has anyone on here experimented with head skimming on a rmr 125 or equivelent? just thinking of other ways to try and get some more power out of what i feel is a very sluggish engine. admitidly i am used to a bit more grunt (see below!) but still i think there is more power to be had from this motor!

its standard at the mo apart from i cut open the exhaust and drilled through the catalist material. i think the main thing to gain power is to modify or swap the barrel. i will be fitting and exhaust and trying the airbox mod out as well though. i'll keep you posted!

ive got the rsr version of this bike ive got an ixil custom exhaust system and race cdi its got a bit of punch. what i was thinking is changin the head for something with ither wider or more valves not sure if it would be posable to make it to a dohc 4v or just wider valves i think the head could be skimmed but not by much probs only about 2.5 thou depending on valve clearance
