Thanks a lot for the reports guys, some interesting stuff in there even in this bleak period of C3 rules.

I'd love to see more pictures of this thing if anyone has some, or even hear some more details about it. Good to see some wild concepts coming from a chinese manufacturer, it shows forward thinking and also that they might be starting to move away from the 'parts-bin bike' attitude.

I thought it was an ebike concept, but then what's that exhaust for at the bottom?

    Dear Barry and LJH,

Many thanks for your posts! Nice to see what I missed, and to realize it wasn't much.

LJH, what is this Tinypic where you are hosting your pix? I had to fire up the grannybuster to see them, and even then not all came through. But then again, I'm in rural Shandong linking via Unicom 3G and personal hotspot, so there could be gremlins....

    cheers!

It says "125" on the back, though that's hard to read from the picture!

Wow Barry! I thought we went together! How'd you find all those pretty girls? It must have been when Fahni & I were having lunch??? Great pics! I see you are fond of the "Suzuki"

Euphonius - sorry about Tinypic (free, free, free for cheap, cheap, cheap me) - but I can view them without my anti-granny on in Beijing. Is anyone else having difficulty? If so, I guess I will have to become a paying member of society ... sorry about that!

Felix - that concept vehicle was supposed to be a hybrid gas/electric - it was interesting, but they didn't have much info on it, sorry.

(granny busting is a moving target. the May 35 and June 31 anniversaries caused grandma to be extra vigilant in trying to keep her grandkids ignorant, and mine went through some major changes. but it's generally working now.)

now back to bikes and girls...

Is that Zelig lurking behind this fine specimen? And what's he looking at? And if he's looking at what I think he's looking at, why's he scowling???

Never hurts to have new entrants to the China market, even if they are as singularly inappropriate to local conditions as the F4 and Brutale sport bikes. But I couldn't restrain a belly laugh at the naivete and inadvertent humor in this quote:

Umberto Uccelli (Commerical Director of MV Agusta) says: "Distributing the MV models through a prestigious society like Lifan ensures that we will enter into this very important market with a very strong commercial partner at our side, respecting the Chinese culture, mentality and laws" stated Umberto Uccelli, the Commercial Director of MV Agusta.
(They could use an editor use an editor too.)

    cheers!
