I ended up having to get the surety bond - wait 1 week - spend an hour at the dmv, but it's finally legal!

I will give it a good cleaning and will be painting the fairings this weekend, then I will upload some new pics.

Wow, that's great news. Not sure I understand what a surety bond is but, hey, whatever it takes. So now you are registered in Michigan. Does this mean you can transfer your registration and get Arizona plates after your move? You going to ride the bike to the southwest? That'd be a nice way to spend your final week of summer!
