Hello everybody. Now that I'm riding with a real Chinese license I figure its time to take my bike to gets its inspection (its scheduled for July).

How do I do this? I know somebody is going to say use a dealer....

What dealer? Where can I find them? How do I contact them?? Please help!!

IF u're sure it's 100% roadworthy just DiY, otherwise ANY bigger repair bike shops can do it. Just look for the "代办年检" word.

Thanks for the feedback humanbeing. Think it would be possible to point me in the right direction as to where a larger bike repair shop is? (ie. providing a map of beijing with address of the repair shop highlighted?) I'm pretty useless when it comes to finding places in China. Thanks!

Use an agent, I can give you the number of the agent I used. I think it's the same guy the Jialing dealer in BJ uses actually.

He picked up my bike and papers in the morning and I had the bike back by lunch time!

One thing though... the exhaust on my bike has been modified to make it sound more 'cool' (http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...der-in-Beijing).

Can the agent also arrange to swap the exhaust back to factory spec before its tested, or will the exhaust not really impact the result of the inspection?
