This appears to be a 400cc CG125 ATV engine.

I'm wondering if the top end could be mated to a 167FMM engine like the one in my Dong Fang DF250RTB Bobber?
I know the CCW Heist boys would be interested.

Anyone know the bore and stroke of the 400cc Odes engine?

    Thanks
    Vince

I do not see the people at CCW cobbling an engine together, they may be interested in contacting these people though. http://www.bienvillestudios.com/400.html

They may be able to save some time and energy ie research and development. Since somebody already worked on developing a 400cc engine for a street bike, the company Vento canceled the project, actually they seem to be out of business.

A three cylinder 400cc is what they were working on and sourced from china.

I do not think Vento went out of business, just stopped selling in the USA. PTS motors appears defunct now though.

Crankshaft Honda CG125 1978-1983 (16mm Wide Con Rod)

They would need to marry before they can mate?

The Odes service manual may offer the size of the crank and them matching is possible, but not likely. The
gudgeon pin size is also what would need to match.

    MJH,
You insist on going off on tangents.

I started this thread for information about adding the top end from the Ode 400cc engine to the 167FMM engine. Please try and keep the discussion on topic.

    Thank you,
    Vince
