My flat black was delivered today. After 4 hours, i have it rolling, but still have a lot of "adjustments" to go. THANK YOU Barnone!!!
It sure would have been nice to have some torque specs for the mandatory fasteners/fixings.
I did the A.I. removal(with blocking plate and cap on carb vaccum port) and am waiting for My 33 tooth sprocket. (you guys bought out the 35 tooths).
Still got to do the valve adjustments, clutch and brake levers.
The front tire was really soft, I hope it is not a sign of future problems. I plan on putting Ride-On in them, soon.
I called Sunny Sports for the Tag/Reg paper work, they claim it was mailed on the 5th- Friday... I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Got the paper work today, the 15th. It was post marked the 10th (no truth on the phone).

I got one of those 20 blinks in 2 second tail light led bulbs too. I am going to check into led signal light bulbs too.( I have them in the Triumph already)
One of those lithium-iron 14ah batteries too. I also had to put a tube in the front tire, it would not hold air over night.

If you missed My intro post, rest assured, I am an OLD FART like Barnone and also a Air Force VET (same years in).

Enjoy reading your posts and have learned a LOT about this bike. Sorry did not mean to hi-jack this post.

Looking good,evokid8. How about some bar end turn signals since you are going with the minimalist look?

    Dig the nose art.

I have the 35 & it takes a bit to get it rollin.
I use a bit of a push-off with both feet. 1st gear lasts about 2 bike lengths before an upshift is needed. I'm thinking a 12T c/s sprocket will give me the take-off grunt I'm missing.

broke in 1000 miles earlier this week, changed the oil with no metal shavings. been riding it to school 25 miles each way (freeway i-45) so 50 mile round trip. doing about 55-60 is very normal on this bike so far. topped mine at 67mph. and added some more stuff. pics soon to come.

i wish i had a tach so i can see my rpm
