New member intro

I joined today,as I have just purchased a Dong Fang 250 Bobber.
I am a retired Letter Carrier and needed a "challenge". The other bikes,in My signature, are perfect (for Me) and need no further mods.
I am good with a wrench and have a lot of free time, so I took the plunge,so to speak.
I also wanted a smaller & simpler ride.

Greetings from Shanghai and welcome to the forum. Surely by now you'll have spent some time (maybe a LOT of time) in barnone's excellent nearly 100 page thread on the Dongfang bobber, and, if so, you're off to the races. You'll see there's a growing community of kindred bobberistas who are working that bike into all manner of wondrous works of rolling iron. Clearly it's good that you are a confident wrench, as the bike comes with plenty of niggling challenges.

Is your avatar your actual bike? Would be great to see pictures as you go about your upgrades. Would love to see the Bonnie and Vulcan too!
