    hello from william atwww.moto-scoot.net
we are a product developer for a large u.s. motorcycle and scooter importer, and we have a new motorcycle coming in to the usa this year with a zongshen 200 engine. we need performance parts for this engine, does anybody make a hotter cam in a big valve head for this, and will the 250 zong top-end bolt up? i believe i have seen a 12 loop stator, and a better clutch for this motor, but google searchs are pretty slim on the info out there. if parts were to be developed & produced for this motor, do you think there is a large market for the performance parts? the bike is the skyteam ace i have in the attachment, but the usa ace will have this zong 200 cg motor-b that i am asking about, and not the 125 in the picture. cheerz!

    Bill,
If the 200cc version looks like the 125 version then I am very interested.

Kinda surprised you did not go with the CG250 instead of the CG200. We have the CG250(229cc) in our Dong Fang (DF250RTB) and Heist (CCW) bobbers. One of the Heist guys has milled the head to improve the performance.

There is a outfit in Canada that says they have or have coming big bore kits.
    http://www.chinese-parts-canada.com/...bore_kits.html

"Change your CG200 63.5mm air cooled engine (163FML)to 65.5mm bore, Kit include piston kit and gasket"
"Change your CG250 67mm air cooled engine (167FMM)to 70mm bore,Kit include piston kit and gasket"

Anyway keep us up to date on availability of the Ace.

If you import those then you may want to fall into the major fold that has formed around this type engine:
    ZS167FMM(CG250)
    http://hotspot.en.alibaba.com/produc...MM_CG250_.html

I imagine that is about as big as the engine can get without water cooling it.
    ZS170MM
    http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/26...DIRT_BIKE.html

Maybe you can order a few with the larger engines and see how they sell? They should drop right into that 125 frame, which by the way is very cool.

i contacted the outfit in canada, and we will keep you posted with what they say..... btw, there are an awful lot of these engines on the market in many different models ....correct? we work mainly with the horizontals, so looking into performance options for this motor is a first for us. any further insight would be very helpful. cheerz!

This frame seems to be coming to the North American market once again and with 200cc engines. The Original was the CB125S.

Yingang makes it a sort of multipurpose Dual Sport, but you can see they share the same frames.
There are also many reproduction parts and also original parts that can be purchased on Ebay for the CB125. But the original had 6V electrical and the Chinese have changed that to 12V.

You can get side covers, seats and even tanks…basically that little light weight frame can be configured a bunch of ways.

The parts for that may be other then performance…the big market may be for the frame and what can be put on it, to make a personal statement.

This is a good example of what can be created off that frame.

Yes, there is a lot of the CG125 based engines on the market in China.
You should definitely start with the CG250 (229cc) 167FMM engine instead of the CG200. The additional cost will be insignificant.

    Hi guys,

I live in Thailand and we have a local shop they do all kind of custom body made.
If the body install with based engine from CG200/250 or CB200/250 (163FML or 167FML or similar)
would be nice. Bigger bike can also to the custom.
If you want to u/g engine to gain more HP, this is not worth it.

Some pic on the topic in Aswer #26
